FFE FLORIAN | Venice, Italy | est.1720

400mm x 500mm | gouache & colored pencil

Artwork Story

Caffè Florian opened in St. Mark’s Square, where it still stands today, on December 29, 1720. The old rutten walls decorated by the retro leather chairs creates such a romantic aged love to the foreground image of the couples having wine.

I’ve been imagining myself and my partner sitting in front of the rotten wall having a peaceful glass of wine in a warm sunny day.
